Fair Play
Play with your own decisions
During a live game against another player, do not use chess engines, opening books, databases, tablebases, another person’s advice, or software that recommends moves. Do not automate moves through the website.
Rated Bot games
An automatically matched Bot is a rated opponent. The same no-assistance rule applies throughout that game. A separate practice game against the computer is for learning and may be analyzed freely.
Respect results and opponents
Do not arrange results, use multiple accounts to manipulate ratings, intentionally lose for advantage, or let someone else play on your account. Report suspected cheating or bugs through feedback; do not retaliate by cheating.
